I realise I’m a bit late, but the influences will last for two more weeks.

The full moon on Sunday December 3, 2017 was at 11°40′ in Gemini. The event is strongly influenced by planet Neptune. The reason for that is a narrow (disharmonious) square aspect between the full moon and Neptune, meaning Neptune will show its most sinister side (Neptune = Poseidon = Enki). Lies & deception, loss & disappointment, (mental) illness & addiction, theft and scandal are very real possibilities during this two-week moon phase.

The full moon occurs within 24 hours of Mercury stationing retrograde, plus Jupiter making a narrow (harmonious) trine aspect with Neptune. While Mercury retrograde only encourages more confusion & mischief, Jupiter trine Neptune brings faith and optimism. It occurs only 13 hours before the full moon and will remain active for most of this moon phase.

In the chart you can see both aspects. Jupiter trine Neptune is a very positive aspect but its good points are severely mangled by the challenging (red) square aspects. The distances between the planets involved show almost no deviation, which makes the effect even more powerful.

Moon square Neptune can bring strange feelings or experiences that leave you questioning reality. Chances are, that you will not perceive things correctly. Do not take important decisions without careful consideration. Deceitful people will easily recognize any confusion or weakness and use it to their advantage. At the same time, this aspect causes extreme emotional sensitivity, so chances are that if SHTF it will hurt you deeply.

You will be more prone to (lucid) dreams and/or psychic impressions than usual, but be careful with the interpretation. Unless you have a strongly positioned Neptune in your natal chart (this is not very common) chances are that you’re unable to tune into the Neptune frequency. Avoid advice from fortunetellers during this period. You will likely feel more empathy for others. You may experience suffering yourself or be touched by suffering in some way. Tell someone if you are suffering or lend a helping hand to someone in need.

Sun square Neptune only adds to the confusion, delusion and risk of deception and disappointment. Neptune will have a weakening effect on your solar vitality and ego, as well as your lunar emotions. You will also be more susceptible to some psychological and health issues such as depression and infection. Problems will be difficult to find and misdiagnosis is possible. You will be more sensitive to drugs and alcohol, especially if you already have mental health issues.

With both Sun & Moon square Neptune (see note below) it is quite normal to feel insecure, guilty and apologetic. Over-idealization and gullibility may lead to loss, scandal or slander. This stereo affliction brings out the most sinister side of Neptune. Take extra care with business dealings or negotiations. Personal relationships may also suffer from dishonesty and deception. Secrets will be harder to keep or harder to uncover. This can affect all areas of life and all types of people.

So heads up to all of us…

Note: The Sun opposite Moon aspect is not discussed above, as it is a necessary part of each full Moon constellation. Nevertheless, the Sun opposite Moon is the strongest disharmonious aspect on the menu. This puts their current brightness competition in the US daytime sky in a whole different perspective. The best moment to settle this conflict would, without a doubt, have been yesterday.
