Rex, I have been a software developer on the IBM iSeries (AS/400) computer since 1995 for publicity traded mfg. companies. I completely agree with what you are saying about how long until computers decide how much we can consume, how much can we contaminate the planet and how cruel can we be to each other, the animals and the environment. Can they really do any worse? We had our chance. Look how the Native Americans were treated! Look how animals are treated like commodities! Something needs to be done. We have failed!!! It’s so sad to say that but truth is truth.

Have you ever heard this: If you truly love someone then you want the best for them and whatever makes them the happiest, even if it’s not you. Do we really love this planet and the animals that live on it? Then it’s time to realize we need to stop controlling them and let go and let something else have a chance to try. If humans are allowed to continue it’s just sadomasochism, we have utterly failed (except Native American who were the true caretakers of nature). Who wants what humans have done for something that should be so loved like our planet and the animals & plants living on it?

This is in reply to the podcast titled “Clone Yourself with a 3D Printers, Why Not?”.
